How to Create an Apple ID on an iPhone

For doing things like downloading and updating apps, making purchases from iTunes, and making FaceTime calls, you'll need an Apple ID. If you don't already have an Apple ID, this article will show you how to create one.

   Turn on and unlock your iPhone. Enter your paasscode if your device requires one.

   Tap the Settings app from the Home Screen.

   Scroll down until you see the "iTunes and App Stores" entry.

   Tap "iTunes & App Stores". If an existing Apple ID is already signed in, sign out of it before proceeding.

   Tap "Create New Apple ID".

   Find and select the country you're located in. Tap Done to confirm your selection and then Next to proceed.

   Read over the iTunes Store Terms and Conditions and agree to it. Scroll to the bottom of the page and tap "Agree"; tap it again at the alert that shows. If you have trouble reading the document, you can choose to have it emailed to you by tapping "Send by Email" and entering a valid email address.

   Fill in your email address, a password, three security questions with their appropriate answers, and your birth date. Your password must have at least 8 characters (including a number and an uppercase and lowercase letter) with no spaces. It also shouldn't have three consecutive characters (ggg), be your Apple ID, or a previous password you've used in the last year. After registration, your email address will become your Apple ID.

   Enter your billing information. To make an Apple ID, a payment method needs to be provided in the form of a debit card (Visa, MasterCard, or American Express), iTunes gift card, or iTunes gift certificate.
   
   

   • Understand that your card will not be charged until you make a purchase of apaid app. For free apps, you will never be charged.
   • Your billing address will also need to be provided, which consists of your full name, street address, city name, state/province name, postal code, and phone number. This is just for confirmation of your payment information, and receipts of any purchase you make will be emailed to you, rather than through a postal service.

    Verify your account. An email will be sent to the email address you've provided.

    Log into your email account and look for an email from Apple. The subject line will be "Please verify the contact email address for your Apple ID." Open it and click the link to verify your account.

    Sign in with your Apple ID credentials on the Apple website, and click "Verify Address". If it works, you are now the newest owner of an Apple ID!

Tips

• You can also set up your Apple ID on your PC.
• There are many other reasons you'll need an Apple ID–from installing new apps to your iPhone, to including an iCloud account, to transferring wirelessly apps from one place to another to updating apps (on slightly older iPhones with older iOS versions). Think about that!
• The device, upon very first initial setup, will ask you to create an Apple ID. You won't be able to go through that step until you comply and create one.
• While choosing your email and password for your Apple ID, you can enter a rescue email address that can be used to access your account if it's been compromised or you've forgotten the password.

Warnings

• If you don't have a credit card, Apple will not allow you to create an account. You must have a working credit card (debit cards with a credit-card symbol also work) account stored on your iPhone to be able to properly use it. Therefore, if you don't have one, don't try to even think about signing up just yet.

How to add any website to Windows 10's Start Menu

In Windows 10 you’ve got tons of choices for desktop programs, and apps from the Windows Store can be useful too. But there are still probably a few key webpages you turn to every day instead of a desktop program or modern UI app.

Wouldn’t you love to have those key sites available to you on the Windows 10 Start menu? Here’s how to do that.

The Edge way

Microsoft Edge in Windows 10 has pin-to-Start functionality built-in.

Open Microsoft Edge and then navigate to the page you want to add. In the upper right-hand corner, click the three horizontal dots, and then from the drop down menu select Pin this page to Start. A pop-up window will appear asking you to confirm. Click Yes and you’ll find the site at the bottom of the live tile section in your Start menu. 

The downside? This method is that links will only open in Edge. Fortunately, there's a way around that. If you want links to open in your default browser instead of Edge, you have to use a little bit of trickery, but nothing too complicated.

The non-Edge way

Open Internet Explorer and navigate to the webpage you want to add to Start. For our purposes, let’s say it’s Facebook.

Once you’re on Facebook, right-click in an open space on the site and select Create shortcut from the context menu. IE will then show a pop-up window asking if you want to create a desktop shortcut. Click Yes.

To do the same thing in Chrome and Firefox, go to the address bar and click-and-drag the icon to the left of “http,” and drop it on the desktop. The icon will either be a green lock, a rectangular piece of paper, or a globe.

Pro Tip: In my experience, you’ll generally get better looking icons using Internet Explorer for this step.

Next, right-click the desktop icon you just created and select Copy.

Add to Start

Now type “run” into the Cortana/search box. The top choice should be the Run desktop app.

Once Run opens, type inshell:programs, click OK, and an Explorer window will open.

Now just right-click in the main part of that window (be careful not to accidentally open a folder) and selectPaste.

Your website is now in Start but it’s buried in the “All apps” list. To remedy this, just clickStart > All apps and scroll down to the listing in the alphabetical list. Since we’re doing Facebook we’ll look under “F”.

Once you find it, just click-and-drag it onto the live tiles (right) side of the Start menu and you’re done. 

After you’ve added your webpages to Start, feel free to delete your shortcuts from the desktop.

The catch with websites using the non-Edge method is you can’t remove them from Start through the right-click context menu. Instead, you have to type shell:programs into Run and then delete the shortcuts in the Explorer window that opens.

Usually i need to connect internet in my laptop with this method when i cant access my broadband service. I have made this practical i.e Connect internet in PC Laptop by android mobile with USB. No need for any PC suite for connecting to access internet and not even require an user-id and password. This is all possible by “tethering” feature means actually we can share the Internet connection of mobile phone with other devices using cable. You can even access internet on PC by mobiles using Wi-Fi Tethering and Bluetooth tethering feature. Even you can share your Internet data of mobile with another Mobile. Here are steps to connect internet in PC laptop by android mobile with USB:

Step 1.) First step is to Connect your mobile with PC or Laptop via USB cable.

Step 2.) Check whether your data packet is Enable or not and ensure that your internet is properly working in mobile and you are able to open web pages in your android mobile any browser.

Step 3.) After performing above steps, go to mobile setting and select wireless and networks and go to “Tethering and portable hotspot”. i.e Setting -> Wireless and networks ->Tethering and portable hotspot. Now select “USB Tethering” and make it enable as shown below.
